Microtonal Music Studios is delighted to be able to bring the Balinese composer and musician Dewa Alit to Finland as visiting artistic fellow at the Microtonal Music Studios. While in Helsinki Dewa Alit will give a masterclass in Myymälä2 gallery on the 26th and after this will work with students of the Microtonal Music Studios Research and Study Programme in practical workshops comining Balinese and new microtonal instrument, the results of the workshops will be will be presented at the event ᬢᬓ᭄ᬲᬸ Taksu — An Evening with Experimental Balinese Music. The community and public are invited to listen, play, eat and dance together at the Pikku-Huopalahti Youthhouse.

There will also be food and drinks available at the event. While guests and bring food and drinks to the event the venue is a community and youth venue there is no alcohol is allowed.

The event is supported by Kone Foundation, Myymälä2 gallery, The City of Helsinki, and the Indonesian Embassy in Finland.

The event has been produced in collaboration with the City of Helsinki Munkkiniemi Youthdivision
