I think I noticed when things started to get worse
still able to go on
living with the pain, with heavy lungs
clenching teeth

red ears
yellow bowels
stones in the gallbladder

unable to sleep

tissue samples,
blood tests
troubling results

recurring gout

crooked back

a lump in the throat

needed crutches to walk
long bandages rolled around the sore foot

my front teeth started to wiggle
and my left eye became cloudy
