The exhibition examines our joint struggle to keep our planet liveable, both at the concrete street level and more widely, through myths, history and stories.

The effects of our destructive lifestyle go beyond the boundaries of generations and species, and the actions of individuals are not enough to bring about a change. The ecological crisis requires us to unify our perspective and to work together.

The art group Riskilä, established on the steps of the Parliament House and named after the endangered shorebird black guillemot, is a community of two artists practicing art and activism. The works feature climate and environmental themes with the help of different techniques.

Olavi Fellman is an Espoo-based visual artist who has graduated as a Master of Art Philosophy. In recent years, he has focused on the climate theme in his art.

Satu Söderholm is an Espoo-based social worker and photographer who has graduated as a Master of Social Sciences. She focuses on societal and environmental themes.
