Margarethe von Trotta’s film about German philosopher Hannah Arendt, her views on the trial of the Nazi leader Adolf Eichmann and Arendt’s controversial concept of “the banality of evil”. The film is screened as part of a series of influential women thinkers and philosophers. The series is organised in collaboration with Niin & Näin, Kriittinen korkeakoulu & Five ry. Thursday May 4th screening of the film will be introduced by political scientist Elmeri Hyvönen (YTT).
