Free Art School teachers to take part in HAM’s art workshop series this autumn. Come meet the artists and make art with them!

Art workshop with Pauliina Turakka Purhonen: Croquis with scissors

At this art workshop we will be using pieces of fabric to create croquis images of a life model. We will cut pieces of fabric in different colours into suitable shapes and arrange them into images on a piece of backing fabric, before appliquéing them in place.

Visual Artist Pauliina Turakka Purhonen is known for her paintings and intricate textile sculptures. Her pieces are often inspired by objects and people close to her. At the Free Art School she teaches painting to first year students.

Language Finnish. The workshops are directed at adults and young people ages 16 and up. No earlier experience is required.
