Burning ritual, foraged memory, a witch and a curse, sprawling digital data, the poetics of geology, mangled hearts, bodily fragments, mycelium on VHS, floating in digital waste in echoes of the
past…..regurgitating into the present.

‘Coexistent’ looks at how seemingly disparate environments, bodies, stories and entities can come together, with boundaries blurring and warping into new configurations. The exhibition is a collaboration between current and former ViCCA students from Aalto University, focusing on multidisciplinary approaches to contemporary art and curating.
