Money runs the world, but who runs the money? Welcome to Eeti’s after-party to discuss finances. What kind of changes to the system are needed so that money matters run more fairly?
What is Eeti’s after party?
Eeti’s after parties are a relaxed and informal event for all types interested in responsibility. At afters, you can hear and discuss hot questions related to, for example, human rights, consumption, fashion or advertising. In addition to Eeti’s regular faces, Eeti’s after-party always includes an expert guest related to the topic of the event. The event is free and has no age limit!

That’s what we’re talking about, what’s the lack. At these after parties, Eeti’s communications manager Emmi Huhtanen talks about Finland’s coolest economist, Anni Martti. In the Bar tÿpo of the text house, we discuss what is wrong with the current economic system and how it should be changed in order to distribute well-being more evenly – while also taking into account the carrying capacity of nature.
After the interview, the audience can also ask questions and discuss the topic. A snack is available for the fastest. In addition, the bar is open, so you can enjoy a lemonade or beer at your own expense. However, you don’t have to buy anything!
If you’re not in Helsingborg, you can also follow the after party live on Eeti’s IG channel!
Anni Marttinen
Anni Marttinen is an economist, a doctoral researcher in ecological economics at LUT University and a non-fiction writer. He will publish his debut work Hattaratalous in October. He has previously worked e.g. At the Ministry of Finance, the ECB, the Bank of Finland and SAK.
