Kids tour

A giant match, sound making canvas and a painting you can go in – What all can be found in the exhibition to explore together! The tour is aimed at children aged 3 to 8 and the adults accompanying them. In Finnish.

Our deep fate on oil – Expert tour of Monira Al Qadiri’s Exhibition
4–5 PM
Doctoral researcher, curator Anna-Kaisa Koski has studied the connections between oil culture and contemporary art. At the beginning of the tour, we will get to know a few works from the exhibition, after which the discussion will continue at the round table located on the 5th floor. In Finnish.

Collective Drawing: Round Pattern
5–7 PM, 5th floor
Roll circles with a pencil. What kind of pattern emerges? Did you create a molecule, a plant, or a character on the paper? Draw a pattern inspired by the works of Monira Al Qadiri or continue a picture started by others.
Meet the artist: Kihwa-Endale
5–6.30 PM, 3rd floor
The art of Kihwa-Endale, a Korean-Ethiopian artist working in Helsinki, is based on ancestry, spirituality, myths, and society. The clay used in the paintings was brought by the artist from Ethiopia. Meet the artist by the artwork at the Rock, Paper, Scissors exhibition. In English and Finnish.
