At Työhuone, surrounded by few elements representing the theatre (machine) – a backdrop and a rope – I aim to make visible absurdities of the work of a performer. I dabble a little with the concept of the fool. The work is a continuation to a long-term interest in which I try to articulate the corporeal experiencing of performing.”

Hanna Ahti on helsinkiläinen tanssitaiteilija, esiintyjä ja esitysten tekijä. Hän on työskennellyt nykytanssin, uuden tanssin ja esitystaiteen kehyksissä kansainvälisesti ja Suomessa vuodesta 2000 lähtien. Viimeaikaisissa töissään Ahti on pohtinut esiintyjä-olentoa, esityksen tapahtuman tuntuja ja kohtaamista. Viime vuosina hän on työskennellyt mm töiden Horizontal (Ehkä- tuotanto 2016), Leiri (Asematila 2018), H. (Universum- teatteri 2019), Kasa (Mad House Helsinki ja Titanik 2020) ja Svett (Zodiak, Teater Viirus 2021) parissa. Ahti on rendezvous-taiteilijayhteisön jäsen.

Hanna Ahti is a Helsinki-based dance artist, performer and performance maker. She’s worked within the fields of contemporary dance and performance internationally and in Finland since 2000. In her recent works Ahti’s been contemplating on the performer-creature, feels related to the happening of the performance and encounter. Recent works include Horizontal (Ehkä- production 2016), Camping (Asematla 2018), H. (Theatre Universum 2019), Mound (Mad House Helsinki & Titanik 2020) and Svett (Zodiak & Thetre Viirus 2021). Ahti is a founding member of the artistic association/society rendezvous.
