The 33rd text of the Eurantie Window Publication is now out. It is written by Aarni Pieski and designed by Tino Nyman. The text is on view from 2 October to 29 October, 2025. The text is one of six texts selected through our open call.

Aarni Pieski is a Sámi dramaturg, playwright, scriptwriter and curator. He is interested in human relationships, histories, and the afterlife from a queer and Indigenous perspective. In his text, Pieski explores the eroticism of masculinity and various manifestations of constructed masculinity, found from field research of queer environments in cities and Sápmi.

Tino Nyman is a Helsinki-based designer specializing in art direction. His practice moves between the commercial and cultural fields. In this work, Tino interpreted a poem by Pieski through his own typographic styling, stretching the poem’s original typographic grid, while still respectfully honoring the original layout. He explored the interplay between text mass and empty space through the use of indentation.

The typeface is Quadrant Text Mono.
