In Irini Arana’s solo exhibition named Seat of Affection, visitors get a tangible sense of Arana’s views on body image, godliness and femininity in art history through various sculptures and drawings. The lines between material, time and body become blurry and merge into one whole that also deals with prayer, emotions and unconditional love. The aim of the exhibition is to spark up discussions and reflections on femininity in modern society, while also recognising its central role in art history.
Exhibition opening on Thursday 31 October from 5 to 7 pm – a warm welcome!
Exceptions to opening hours
Exhibitions are closed on All Saints’ Day, Saturday 2 November.
