Galleria A2 ‑näyttelyn teosten alkuperä on lapsuuden luontoon sulautumisen kokemuksessa ja myöhemmin sisäistetyissä modernin väri- ja muoto-opin tosiasioissa.

Palaan viattomuuden tilaan aina, kun unohdun katsomaan luonnon ilmiössä tapahtuvaa värien ja muotojen variointia. Tähän monimutkaiseen, tyhjentymättömään maailmaan teen toistuvia tutkimusmatkoja.

Lukiessani modernin muoto- ja väriopin pioneerien tekstejä ymmärrän heidänkin olleen joskus viattomina uuden, visuaalisen kokemuksen edessä ja muuttaneen ymmällään olonsa tulkinnoiksi. Nämä tulkinnat ovat ohjanneet minuakin jäljentämisestä näkemiseen.

Luonto ei tarjoa tulkintoja olemiseensa. Minä olen oppipoika jokaisen luontotapahtuman edessä.

Ajattelen, että kosmiset purkaukset, puutarhani fenkolipenkki ja aivokemiani ovat samaa rakentuvuutta. Paikannan sijaani siinä välineinä väri. muoto ja tila.

Aiheiden moninaisuus synnyttää teossarjoja. Näyttelyn teokset ovat kahdelta viime vuodelta.

The works in this exhibition have their roots in the childhood experience of becoming one with nature and the later internalized facts of the modern doctrine of colour and form.

I return to a state of innocence whenever I look at the variation of colours and forms that that occur in nature. Into this complex, limitless world I make repeated expeditions.

When reading texts written by the pioneers of modern form and colour, I realize that they too were sometimes innocent when confronted with a new, visual experience. They turned their feeling of bewilderment into interpretations. These interpretations have guided me too from reproduction to seeing.

Nature does not offer interpretations of its being. I am an apprentice to every event in nature.

Cosmic eruptions, the fennel bed in my garden, and my brain chemistry are all of the same structure. I search for my place using colour, shape and space as my instruments.

A diversity of topics inspires series of works: those presented in this exhibition were created over the past two years.
