“I always wanted to be happy so I tried to make everyone around me happy, in
expectation they would feel the same way about me.”

What makes us happy? What is being happy? The half-Polish, half-German photographer Jennifer Janowski’s exhibition Four Seasons of Happiness deals with these questions. She lived and worked in Finland, the ”happiest country in the world”, and asked the Finns about their happiness while capturing her own thoughts and development at the same time. The photographs in the exhibition are fine art prints and Janowski has also published a photobook carrying the same name.
