Monitoimitila O’s first exhibition of 2022 brings together two artists; Eeva-Maija Pulkkinen and Antti Ruuhela. Author Maija Muinonen has written a text about the exhibition and the exhibition is named – LATER THEORIES after this text.

Eeva-Maija Pulkkinen is a visual artist living in Turku. She works around sculptural gestures with multiple materials, image and text. Pulkkinen graduated from the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts in 2018. Artistic work has been supported by the Finnish Cultural Foundation Varsinais-Suomi regional fund.www.eevamaija.com

Antti Ruuhela (b. 1980) earned his Master of Fine Arts degree from the Academy of Fine Arts, University of the Arts Helsinki. Before the academy he studied painting at the Orivesi College of Arts. Ruuhela’s artworks are included in several museum and private collections in both Finland and abroad. The artist has held numerous solo exhibitions and taken part in group exhibitions since 2003.
