On August 20th, we welcome everyone to join us for a panel discussion exploring the challenges and opportunities faced by artists who have moved to Finland.
The goal of the evening is also to provide valuable perspectives and practical advice for artists at various stages of their careers, from students to established professionals.
What are the strategies for building a network and gaining visibility? Is it possible to balance commercial and personal projects? Should artists aim for financial stability and growth?
Participating in the discussion are Wen Ouyang, founder of Artmu, visual artist Tania Crossingham, and H Ouramo, principal of the Art School Maa. The discussion is moderated by Emma Clear from Globe Art Point.
Don’t miss this opportunity to be inspired, network, and get to know the local art scene. We look forward to meeting you at the Nordic Culture Point’s library at Kaisaniemenkatu 9.
We serve coffee and tea. No registration is required.
The event is organized in collaboration between Nordic Culture Point, HIAA – Helsinki International Artist Association and Globe Art Point. You are also welcome to visit HIAA’s exhibition Nordic Crossroads at Nordic Culture Point’s venue B28 on Suomenlinna island 23.8 – 31.8.2024.
