Being awake

I like stories. Very often, stories become the subjects of my artwork. Like the story about Anubis who guards the dead, or the Eye of Horus which watches and protects, the works in this exhibition are about seeing, being alive and being awake.

Through drawing, painting, erasing and adding back again, my works become colourful and contain physical and mental layers of the creative process.

The art pieces in this exhibition have been made during the past year. They are painted or printed with watercolour, gouache and acrylic.
