Welcome to an exhibition – arranged by the Nordic Art Association and Nordic Culture Point – featuring works by Nordic artists. Admission is free.
About the exhibition
In November, Nordic Culture Point’s premises at Suomenlinna B28 will be transformed into an art exhibition to serve as a postcard between the members of the Nordic Art Association. Since its inception in 1945, the aim of the association has been to strengthen the Nordic art scene by building networks across national borders and exhibiting works of art among Nordic audiences. This exhibition continues this tradition. It can be seen as a wave from one artist to another – a vision of collaboration and a dream of reunion.
Works by the following artists will be featured in the exhibition:
Anna Ridderstad (Sweden)
Ásgerður Arnardóttir (Iceland)
Buuti Pedersen (Greenland)
Juanma González (Sweden)
Jouni S. Laiti (Sápmi)

About the Nordic Art Association
The Nordic Art Association is the oldest art association in the Nordic Region, founded in 1945 to strengthen co-operation between visual artists in the Nordics and to disseminate Nordic art both within and outside the region. The association consists of nine chapters consisting of Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Greenland, the Faroe Islands, Åland, and the Sámi region. The organisation is run by the artists themselves and acts as a voice for their ideas, initiatives, and role in society. Through ongoing collaboration and exchange between artists in the Nordic Region, the association is helping to keep culture at the heart of Nordic co-operation.
