Welcome to our event of live electronic music, where the US/German/Estonian duo Bad Groupy along with locals Pink Twins and Treepio chase the ever-elusive Midsummer’s Noise Dream. Each musician circles around the core and logics of noise and experimental electronic music from their own perspective and drawing from the combined experience of 100+ years in the art of sound and music.

Bad Groupy is a duo of Berlin-based musician Kris Kuldkepp and Washington DC’s experimantal scene authority Jeff Surak. Bad Groupy combines free improvisation with programmatic constructs and everyday noises mutating into spherical soundscapes that fill simultaneously the physical performance space and listeners’ headspace.

Pink Twins is Juha and Vesa Vehviläinen, godfathers and prophets of Finnish bipolar electronic music and parametric audiovisual art. With a career of 25 years behind them, the aging gentlemen no longer have time for subtleties.

Treepio A.K.A. Teemu Korpipää is among others a musician, improviser, mixing engineer, builder, composer, collector of curious sounds and a rubberband strummer. He wishes to figure out what to do when he grows up and that there were more hours in a day.
