PIMIÖ is a physical and visual research exploring the processes of analog photography executed live on the stage.

In Pimiö, the stage is trnsformed into a camera obscura and a photographic darkroom, interpolating experimental and traditional photographic printing techniques with movement, object manipulation and magic.

A collaboration between the visual / performing artist Luis Sartori do Vale, the photographer André Baumecker, the dancer / circus artist Mira Ravald and the light designer Jere Mönkkönen.

Premiere: April 2023 in WHS Teatteri Union.
