In my work, the tile is like a blank page in a diary or notebook. I don’t design or sketch a picture, but I want my work to be as free as possible, happening in an instant. I let the things I see and experience affect my work.

In the monotype technique, I am fascinated by its unpredictability. Technical know-how can be developed endlessly, but there are still surprises in the printing phase. In the past, when I was working, I was printing several prints for the same job, now my work has become slower in the process and more and more that I am printing the job in one print.

Landscapes were already the theme of my school-leaving graduation exhibition, so something in the landscape has been so interesting that it has remained the main theme for more than a decade. The landscape has always been more of a mental landscape in my work. I’m not going to describe any particular landscape, but the landscape is the kind of place where anything can happen. It lives with the changes in my life and is always refined and shaped according to my current interests.

The era of isolation that has been going on for almost two years has brought vegetation to my work. The nature that surrounds my home, the forest and the garden with its plants, has come to my work. I don’t even go out to describe any particular plants in my vegetation, but let them come into my work in shapes and colors.

So at the moment, the themes in my work; land, sky, water, and vegetation are all things in common that are divisible. Although my work is based on personal experience, everyone can find their own experience through my work.
