The photographs in the exhibition illustrate the beauty present at least in fleeting moments in the surrounding nature, which is sometimes believed to be commonplace.

The photos were not created by passing through looking for things to photograph, but by getting more closely acquainted with long-familiar locations and waiting for the right moment. Sometimes the moment was quick and surprising, but even then the image was captured based on the same aesthetic values.

Pirjo Jaukkuri and Juhani Syväoja share a sensitivity to recognise and find the instant where nature appears like something out of a fairy-tale.
