Dear friends past, present, and future,

Join @publics_youth on Saturday 9 March for a day of activities, discussions and music in our space in Vallila!

The program will include workshops conversations, food, and tunes. We will launch our podcast, get to know each other, and share with you some of the important reflections we’ve had with the many people, creative professionals, and institutions we’ve met during the year.

During 2023, the nine members of our Youth Advisory Board have been reflecting on the power and potential of good communication. We paid attention to our surroundings and to how spaces, actions and practices carry meanings and deliver messages. We have met local and international artists and creatives working with sound and with spoken and written language. We have crafted poetry, letters and a live radio show. We met other youth initiatives to reflect on accessibility, sustainability and agency.

How and to whom spaces become welcoming? We will discuss this and more!
