Pupunos is an exhibition of abundant and lively textile sculptures. The pieces emerge from the intersection of organic and schematic forms; exploring themes of control, closeness, and the sense of security. Through an intuitive process, constructed using a variety of recycled fabrics woven together, playful and colourful creations come to life with enticingly undulating shapes. Diverse textures along with free and bound textiles intertwine, tempting to the touch and creating novel soft weaves.
