Visual artist Seela Petra combines traditional and modern techniques in drawing, printmaking, and media art. Her 40-year career includes 40 exhibitions and works in 26 public collections, including the Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma and EMMA. Her large-scale public artworks and animated live action animations have gained widespread recognition, including the Drops in Mind short film, which won the Best Short Film award at the ARFF Amsterdam Film Festival in 2023.
