Welcome to participate in the workshop ‘If You Meet a Bear’ with The Nordic Bookworm during World Village Festival!

What should you do or not do if you encounter a bear? Find out by joining us for a workshop based on the book ‘If You Meet a Bear’ by Malin Kivelä, Martin Glaz Serup, and Linda Bondestam. The session will include readings, discussions about the book, and enjoyable crafts related to its themes. Suitable for ages 5 and above, lasting 30 minutes. The workshop will be held in Swedish and Finnish.

The reading promotion project ‘The Nordic Bookworm’ has developed educational materials for over 50 Nordic picture books, which are accessible at https://bokslukaren.org/. You can find inspiring questions for ‘Råttan Bettan och masken Baudelaire’ on the website.
