Personal Space is the latest exhibition of glass artist Tiia Tirronen. It deals with themes of personality formation, identity issues and the factors influencing our thought patterns and behaviour in an experimental and individual way. The thought connections between the works and the interdependent factors lead to a space that describes the personal space in all of us.

The themes of the works describe personal but universal experiences of growing up, thinking, self-exploration and observations as we interact with our environment. The atmosphere of the exhibition is electric and sympathetic, and its aim is to awaken forgotten, latent emotions that help us remember and understand who we really are.

The personal realization that connects the space and the works allows you to step into an otherwise invisible space, a mind that acts as a hallway between the material and immaterial world.

Tiia Tirronen (born 1992) is a glassblower and contemporary artist from Helsinki. In his work, she deals with the perspectives of humanity, curiosity, freedom and sensitivity in glassblowing and sculpture, as well as using installations. Her work has been seen in the Finnish Museum of Glass and in private galleries. In private exhibitions, the emphasis is on the use of space and light as a comprehensive part of the presentation of the works.
