24.5. — 16.6.2024

I am dancing joyfully in Richard Long’s footsteps in Aisha Khalid’s not yet completed garden, at the beginning of a new life. I am building a cradle out of our bed. Later, while I am watching the power lines and the birds sitting on them with my child, I start composing a lullaby inspired by Benjamin Patterson’s Ants. I am sending the little cars of my childhood from the track I built and I count every question I hear like Stanley Brouw’s steps.

Tuomas Linna (b. 1985) is a visual artist living and working in Espoo. They graduated as Master of Arts from Uniarts Helsinki’s Academy of Fine Arts in 2019.
