The exhibition Until now portrays dance films directed by Vilma Tihilä in Asbestos Art Space for ten days. The works in the exhibition look at the knowledge of the body, and the power of an encounter – exploring also themes of inter generational relations and identity. The exhibition runs daily with a screening-based concept repeated hourly, length 35 minutes.

Tihilä holds Master of Arts in Screendance from London Contemporary Dance School which is the one and only dance film education in the world. Three of Tihilä’s most recent works; Call of the Cranes, Carried in Silence, and A Portrait are award winning films at festivals in the UK, Brazil, Portugal and Italy. All films in the exhibition suit for all ages.
