Equality by means of art!

Y-festivaali (Y Festival) is a free cultural and human rights event that builds and celebrates an equal and diverse future. The Ministry of Justice’s Y-festivaali will be organised in Helsinki on Saturday, October 8th 2022 for the first time. 

The event is open to everyone and highlights equality-related themes by means of art and culture, through music and films as well as discussions. The curators and presenters of the event are Caroline Suinner and Meriam Trabelsi from Pehmee kollektiivi.

Y-festivaali is organised as part of the Ministry of Justice’s project Drivers of Equality, which has received funding from the European Union’s Fundamental Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme.
