Photobook Club Helsinki – Wednesday 4.12.2024, 5-8 p.m.

For our December event we are visiting Rihkardinkatu Library and their amazing collection of artist’s books. Emmi Martin, the founder of the collection, will be giving a presentation. 

The address is Rikhardinkatu 3, Helsinki (artist’s book collection, 2nd floor).

After looking at the artist’s books, we will jump into the photobooks people have brought. Please bring a photobook from your shelf (or the shelves of the library), we will talk about the books present. No previous experience of photobooks is necessary, everyone is welcome.

Photobook Club Helsinki is a meeting place for photobook readers, meet-ups are arranged once a month, most often at the first Wednesday of the month. We aim to meet at different locations, presenting people and places that are connected to photography, bookmaking, publishing or distribution.

The event is part of the global Photobook Club network and a part of PBFF activities. Host for this event is @johannes.photobooks
