In her talk, Sámi artisan Reetta Tornensis shares her journey to becoming a maker of duodji, traditional Sámi handicrafts. Tornensis will present both her traditional and contemporary works while reflecting on the future of duodji and her own visions for its development.
The talk will be in Finnish. A selection of Sámi handicrafts will be on display for guests to explore.
Admission to EMMA is free every Friday from 3 pm onwards.
