KATTILA #3 IS ON!

This is an open invitation to see performances in “progress”.

The next KATTILA event will show performances by participants in the Theatre Academy EXPLORING PERFORMANCE module on Friday 13 February 2026 (13:30–18:00) at VAPAAN TAITEEN TILA.

KATTILA is a time, a space, and a community in which to show and see performances ‘in progress’. It is a place to experiment with provocations, movements, actions, sounds, gestures, live images, speeches and public statements. It is also a place to share experiences, thoughts and reactions.

KATTILA is a collaboration between institutions, artists, and event spaces. It was initiated by a group of performance artists, educators, and organisers due to a strong sense of the need for a space in which to share the experimental phases of work. If you need support when your ‘undone’ project lingers, sits or is still brewing.
