OTE is a site-specific performance premiering at Dansbana! Amos Rex. The work is inspired by the intricate and persistent labor of insects. Much of this complex activity becomes visible only when magnified under a microscope. In a similar way, OTE enlarges subtle physical negotiations, revealing tensions, repetitions, dynamics, and forces of interdependence within a large-scale space.

Alma Äijö and Taru Pellinen are dancers based in Helsinki, and OTE is their first collaborative duet work. Their collaboration is inspired by a shared interest in site-specific performance, the dynamic relationship between environment and dancers, as well as the physicality and precision of movement.
