10 Years of Rab-Rab Press! Join us to celebrate 10 years of Rab-Rab Press, an independent publishing platform that redefines the relationship between experimental art, radical politics, and critical inquiry. Over three days, the Museum of Impossible Forms is proud to present a dedicated program featuring an exhibition, a book launch, talks, music, and a sale of books and posters.

Founded in Helsinki in 2014 by Sezgin Boynik, Rab-Rab Press has built an international reputation for its bold editorial approach and cutting edge content—combining experimental art and leftist politics with scholarly rigor and a punk ethos. Its flagship publication, Rab-Rab: Journal of Political and Formal Inquiries in Art, alongside nearly 40 books, continues to push the boundaries of publishing.

Program:

13 December, 16:00–22:00
Exhibition opening: A retrospective featuring periodicals, books, objects, and posters from 10 years of Rab-Rab.
DJ Set by Grrrt, founder of the Red Wig label and collaborator with iconic bands like The Ex and Dog Faced Hermans.

14 December, 16:00–22:00
Launch of ULTRA-RED: A Journal of Militant Sound Inquiry, exploring political sound art and collective listening practices.
Lecture by Ott Kagovere: On Materialist Aspects of Book Design.
Conversation: Sezgin Boynik & Giovanna Esposito Yussif discuss Rab-Rab’s future.

15 December, 16:00–20:00
The final day invites you to enjoy the exhibition, browse books, listen to music, and glögi.
