The architecture walks are scripted by experts from the Architecture & Design Museum Helsinki and guided by museum guides with in-depth knowledge of the tour themes. The tours are part of the 2026 summer season programme, offering open architecture walks to some of Helsinki’s most fascinating sites.
Participation
A place on the architecture walk must be reserved in advance via our event platform. Tickets are paid online in advance, and registration is binding. Please present your booking confirmation (received by email) to the guide before the tour begins.

The maximum group size is 25 participants. The participation fee must be paid via online registration no later than the day before the tour. Payments are accepted only through our online event platform; on-site payment is not possible.

Tour details
The walk begins in front of Finlandia Hall, on the Mannerheimintie side (Mannerheimintie 13 e, 00100 Helsinki), and ends at the final destination in central Helsinki. The duration of the walk is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.

Accessibility
The guide uses a microphone to support audibility.

The total walking distance is approximately 3 kilometres. At the beginning of the walk, we use the stairs located beside Finlandia Hall; however, these can be bypassed via the park along a sloped path if needed. Along the route, there are some non-lowered curbs as well as uneven terrain with changes in elevation. The pace of the walk is unhurried and includes several stops. There are no easily accessible benches or seating along the route, but you are welcome to bring a portable seat if needed.

The nearest accessible and gender-neutral public toilet is located at Helsinki Central Library Oodi (Töölönlahdenkatu 4, 00100 Helsinki).
