And you’ve changed some is a show about memories and places. Albert Eronen (1993) depicts memories, yearning and nostalgia that are attached to houses, through oil and watercolor paintings and ceramic sculptures. He reflects on different forms of remembering: do I remember this moment from my childhood, or do I remember a photo, a story, a sketch of it? The works carry melancholy on the impermanence of beloved things, but at the same time they bring memories back into the current reality. Maybe you can retrieve a piece of the past by going to the old place, or by painting an image of it.
