It is time for the second edition of Slumber Party – a soft intervention of the gallery space. Slumber party is an immersive festival-like exhibition by five artists. The gallery space has multiple functions that invite you to participate as more than just an observer, by changing Asbestos into a soft hang out spot. You can lie down and relax, explore crawl spaces, find hidden pockets of curiosities – or just bring a book or laptop with you and utilise the space to your liking. Some days of the exhibition week have been specifically curated to host local and international visiting artists with performances, visual sets and music that take the space to a whole ’nother level!

The exhibition is open from 12-19 with the exeption of the performance days around 18-22. Event specific line up and performance times will be posted separately! 

We will announce additional events through out the exhibition, such as gigs, movie nights, workshops etc. Stay tuned.

The entrance is not accessible with a wheelchair or with a stroller. There is a few narrow steps outside the door, and a few steps inside the door!

The lighting is dim in most rooms, but will change a little during performances.

The gallery has a toilet inside. 

Asbestos Art Space overall is quite small with limited capacity. During the events we will update in facebook and instagram if it gets too full
