Anni Elif and Seppo Kantonen are two remarkable musicians whose extensive musical erudition comes into their own right in this project. The duo is combining contemporary composition and improvisation and draws inspiration from Swedish and Finnish poetry. Anni Elif, who has previously used several poems in her songwriting, dazzles with the versatility of her agile voice, and Seppo Kantonen is right in his element both as a composer and pianist.
