Ringa Manner is a Finnish music artist who has played with dozens of bands over their 20-year career, most prominently with groups such as Ruusut and Pintandwefall. They have also released three solo albums under the alias The Hearing.

Manner’s work has been nominated for awards such as the Teosto Award by the Finnish copyright organization Teosto, the Nordic Music Prize (twice), and several Emma Awards (the Finnish equivalent of the Grammys). Their work has also won the Critics’ Choice Emma in 2019 and the Artist of the Year Award at the Finnish Indie Awards in 2020.

In recent years, Manner’s solo material has been taking a calmer, more experimenting shape, and could be described as improvisation-based melodies forming ambient-leaning sonic landscapes.
As their first new album takes shape, works in progress have already been featured in installations such as Music For Plants at the University of Helsinki’s botanical garden during the winter of 2021–2022, and the group installation Finland Sounds Like…, which took place in Helsinki and Tampere in 2022. Manner and lighting artist Joakim Udd also created their first joint piece, In Resting State, which transformed the Espoo church park during the winter of 2024–2025.

Registration for the concert opens on Kirpilä Art Collection’s website on 19 February 2026.

The concert has 45 seats, 35 of which can be reserved online. The remaining seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of the concert.
