The visual artist and Doctor of Arts Maija Tammi presents two photo series in the Milky Way Tour exhibition. The series titled ‘Milky Way’ features photographs that might seem like images of planets and constellations. However, they are close-ups of human body fluids. The series ‘One of Them Is Human’ leaves it to the viewer to ponder which images are portraits of humans and which depict human-like robots, i.e., androids.

The Kenkävaahto choir sings about the landscapes of space

5:30 PM and 6:30 PM, 4th floor

The Kenvävaahto Choir, founded in 2011, is a mixed adult choir from a daycare center Vironniemi. Through their songs, they tell stories for all ages. In the Kiasma’s cosmic free admission day program, the choir takes you to sit on a crescent moon and look at Earth, imagine space as inside-out pockets, and witness a star falling into a Kaisaniemi Bay.
