The bathhouse is a place of play between mold, bacteria and cleaning agent
The foundation in reinforced concrete is doomed, pillars weathered by excessive moisture and chlorine
On the hairy landscape of skin, organisms battle for foothold as soap is rubbed in
Eyes itch from aroma therapy

A clean slate for everything to start over
Sulfates are formed naturally via volcanic activity, weathering of rocks, and decomposition of organic matter.

Lauryl Sulfate is a foaming agent commonly used in cosmetics and cleaning products. It irritates the eyes, mouth and respiratory ways. When consumed orally, it weakens the taste receptors for sweetness.
The exhibition title acts as a theoretical starting point for the artists’ work. The artworks combine traditional and contemporary techniques, merging sculpture, painting, moving images, sound art, and various methods of printmaking into a whole within the space.
