MERIHAKATRIPS TWO is the fourth Oksasenkatu 11 -gallery’s Multidisciplinary Arts and Music Festival that continues on the footsteps of Day of The Geniuses & The Night of the Norms (2019), Abdication of the Geniuses (2022) and MERIHAKAMATKAT (2025). The one-day blockfestival consists of music, performance art, visual- and video art with and a two-month outdoor exhibition. The performance art programs’s themes focus on the multitudes of gender expression and corporeal representation.

”The daytime programme is open to all ages. Between the bands performing on the outdoor stage, the festival’s Merihaka Tour Guides lead audiences to performance pieces presented at various locations throughout Merihaka. The festival provides folding chairs for performance-goers to take with them to each event. This year’s performances explore themes of embodiment, heteronormativity, and gender.You can secure a folded chair to various performances by sending an email with your own name and name of the performance.
