End. Repeat. Escape. Delete. No. One more attempt. Before you relapse back to business as usual once again. A true amnesiac millennial. Can the movement, the voice of one body reverse this game? If every movement is a step closer to the end, how do we move?
A dance performance-ode to the generation of loneliness and vanity. An allegory for the choice to move as an opponent of a futureless present, a cry out to the collectives that we have lost.

Polena Kolia Petersen is a Greek-Danish dance artist performing, making and facilitating dance focusing on participation and community engagement. Her work explores dancing as a gesture of resistance in the space between a rite and a riot, seeking to nurture more sustainable, resilient and critical communities through movement.
Polena’s artistic approach is based on feminist and decolonial principles of co-leadership, where she draws from improvisation, queering up folk dances, and somatic training to create embodied experiences that propose more collective and connected futures through commoning dance practices.
As part of the E75 Art Bus project, Polena Kolia Petersen was in artist residency at KulttuuriKauppila in Ii, Finland, during the spring 2025.
