Opening on Saturday 7 September 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, welcome!Artist presentation at 2:00 PMMedia artist Albert Laine will present the exhibition.

From virtual installations to narrative-driven miniature worlds: the exhibition showcases the potentialand the edges of VR as a medium. The artists have utilised various techniques including 3D scanning, video-implementation, animation and soundscapes.

The group exhibition of six artists is the result of cooperation between MUU and Finnish Animation Guild.

This collective exhibition of VR-based experiments opens a space to reflect on our relationship with the environment through a virtual lens. The exhibition brings together a diverse array of artists exploring similar themes from different perspectives.

The works were developed in a workshop focused on VR animation and VR art, organized by Finnish Animation Guild and MUU in November 2023. The course was led by media artists Leena Jääskeläinen, Albert Laine, and Kristina Laine.

The workshop was made possible by the support from the Promotion Centre For Audiovisual Culture (AVEK).
