What remains?

A stone, formed under the mountain’s squeeze, eventually dissolves by the force of wind and water. Plastic, breaking apart into invisible particles over the course of centuries.

Eternity won’t be contained within a single object. Matter flows through bodies and places endlessly.

Eventually, the microplastics, familiar from the brain and bloodstream, pulse out of this homosexual’s road rash.

Gran de Finale is a comprehensive spatial artwork by Viljami Nissi made for the Lou Gallery. The exhibition includes three durational performances, which Nissi will realise together with artist and performer Corinne Mustonen.

Viljami Nissi (b. 1994, Kannus) is a visual artist and performer based in Helsinki, whose work is inspired by the concept of homosion: homosexuality as an erosive force, with the natural power to shape and wear down its surroundings.
