The show is based on Edith Hammar’s comic work Homo Line (2020). A performance by the Swedish-speaking acting students of the University of the Arts’ Theater Academy, directed by professor Aune Kallinen.
I walk between the homesickness dimension and the Viking Line dimension
when I travel, I try to relax in the A4 seaside standard cabin
who am i here
We are at Glory. It is a fantasy version of the Swedish ships that transport sexual minorities across the Baltic Sea in search of a chance to be themselves. But is Stockholm really a better option? And what to do with the sadness and tears that never stop? We stay together between dimensions, in a club, in a bathtub. We sing and dance and do soft, lovely, weird things with each other. We sing about homesickness, desire and lust, violence, Stocka’s clock, Tom of Finland and Homo Line.
Does the future have to be so fresh and profitable
and then or now it feels that way
I feel like I missed a lot of important things
