Kathy-Ann Tan is a Berlin-based independent curator, writer and scholar. She is interested in alternative models of art dissemination, exhibition-making and institution-building that are attuned to issues of social- and transformative justice. Her practice is informed by a desire to create accessible spaces and formats of conversation and discussion outside of academia. She works tirelessly to support queer and BIPoC artists and cultural practitioners in Berlin and beyond by putting decolonial and intersectional feminist theory into practice. Her ongoing project Decolonial Art Archives aims to collaboratively build a forum for artists, curators and cultural workers to develop ways of interrogating colonial narratives. Tan recently founded the Mental Health Arts Space in Berlin as the culmination of years of conversations and sharing. MHAS emerges from the belief that addressing mental health issues within the arts and culture should be a priority and not a luxury.

Nathalie Anguezomo Mba Bikoro merges installations, sonic radio, live art performances, film & archives. Her work analyses processes of power & fictions in historical archives critically engaging in migrational struggles. She creates environments for untold narratives of resistance movements by African women and indigenous communities. Sedimented in narratives are testimonies of sonic nature archives, queering ecologies and postcolonial feminist experiences towards new monuments, reacting to the different tones of societies shared between delusions & ritual. She brings new investigations about the architectures of racisms in cities, the archeologies of urban spaces & economies of tradition systems by exposing the limitations of technologies as functional memory records.  She is the recipient of several awards including Fondation Blachère & Afrique Soleil Mali for Best Artist Dakar Biennale (2012), Arts Council England (2016), Goethe Institut (2016) and many more.

We Should All Be Dreaming – WSABD is a concept that focuses on the radical potential of dreaming as a restorative and subversive practice. Situating itself somewhere between a collective think tank, choreographed gathering, a performance and a lecture the project gently invites the participators to spend time together, listen together and dream together. 

For coming to terms at Sinne gallery, WSABD takes the form of a soft gathering for dreaming, moving, discussing and eating. 

WSABD is an ongoing collaboration between choreographer Sonya Lindfors and writer and activist Maryan Abdulkarim who both are interested in radical speculative and decolonial practices. 

Sonya Lindfors is a Helsinki-based choreographer and artistic director. In all her work, Lindfors pursues to shake and challenge existing power structures, penetrate the society, and empower the community. 

Maryan Abdulkarim is Helsinki-based writer and public intellectual. She’s interested in themes relating to freedom and shifting the contexts in which we dream and create futures in the present.
